Ban Ki-moon Global Impact (BGI) is a platform for global citizens committed to advancing the vision of Ban Ki-moon, the eighth Secretary-General of the United Nations, to address climate change and promote sustainable development. Operated by the Ban Ki-moon Foundation for a Better Future, it empowers future generations and drives digital and AI transformation.
Building on a strong global network, BGI connects partners worldwide and encourages voluntary participation, spreading sustainable impact that addresses humanity's common challenges. As an Implementation Mechanism that links fragmented activities and allocates available resources where they are most needed, it contributes to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and prepares the post-2030 agenda (Post-SDGs).
